Syracuse Truce Receives National Recognition

April 8, 2013 –  The Syracuse Truce focused deterrence initiative received national attention on the CNN Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer. The Institute’s Associate Director, Sarah McLean, said, “We are pleased that Syracuse’s efforts to reduce gun violence are being recognized.” As part of the Truce team’s effort to get the Truce message out the City recently launched a Faceook page and a webpage.
