Holladay Recognized

March 9, 2026. Senior Research Analyst Beau Holladay was honored by the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS) Police Section with the Promising Student in Policing Award. The Police Section confers several awards each year at the Section’s banquet during the ACJS annual conference. The Promising Student in Policing Award recognizes an undergraduate or graduate student who shows exceptional promise and dedication to the study and advancement of policing. The award recipient is selected by the Section’s award committee from among nominated students.

In his nominating letter, Institute Director Rob Worden said, “Beau is an exemplar of the award criteria: a graduate student who shows exceptional promise and dedication to the study and advancement of policing, and who has demonstrated academic excellence and a strong interest in policing research through his involvement in numerous projects. In my estimation, Beau is a model for the next generation of scholars.”
