Sarah McLean, the Institute’s Associate Director, announces that Sara Fiegl has joined the Institute as a Research Analyst. In this role, Sara is immediately contributing to several projects, including the Institute’s partnership with the New York State Police and its work on the Albany Police Department’s Smart Policing Initiative. Sara holds an M.A. degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada and is undertaking doctoral study in Criminal Justice this fall at the University at Albany.
“We jumped on the opportunity to bring Sara on board,” said Rob Worden, the Institute’s Director. “She has excelled academically, she sought and acquired research experience at UNR, and she is interested in program evaluation. I’m confident that Sara will play important roles in Institute research, and we’ll ensure that her work here facilitates her professional development.”
