Institute Research Analyst Earns Master’s Degree

Albany, NY, May 16, 2019 – Among the graduates on whom the University at Albany conferred Master’s degrees today was the Finn Institute’s Research Analyst, Hannah Cochran. She earned the degree from the University’s School of Criminal Justice, whose graduate program is widely regarded as among the best in the U.S.  Ms. Cochran joined the Institute’s research staff shortly after enrolling in the program in the autumn of 2017.

Ms. Cochran is a coauthor of a forthcoming book, The Power to Arrest: Lessons from Research, and of a number of technical reports.  “We are very fortunate to count Hannah among the Institute’s researchers,” Associate Director Sarah McLean remarked.  “She has already made invaluable contributions to the Institute’s work, and we look forward to working with her for years to come.”
